TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP

We have different types of membership available – Ordinary Membership, Life Membership, Junior/Student Membership and Corporate Membership.

All memberships are valid for one year from 1 July to 30 June except for Life Membership.
Membership is non-transferable.

• Complimentary entrance to sites and properties participating in International National Trusts Organization’s (INTO) Reciprocal Visiting Scheme *

The comprehensive list of specific sites is periodically updated by INTO. We suggest to please check before visitation for latest updates to the list of participating Heritage/National Trusts at www.into.org.

Participating National Trusts include: England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Australia, Bermuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Canada, Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Italy, Jersey, Malta, New Zealand and Zimbabwe.

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

MEMBERSHIP FEES

Ordinary Membership
One-time entry fee upon new membership application: RM50.
Annual subscription fee: RM90.
Annual subscription is waived at the discretion of Council for members who are regular volunteers.

Life Membership
One-time fee: RM1,200.
Only members who have been an Ordinary Member for 5 consecutive years are eligible for Life Membership.

Junior/Student Membership
Eligible for individuals up to the age of 25 years and enrolled as a student in educational institutions (for Student Members). Individuals 25 years and below who are not students can join as Junior Members.
One-time entry fee upon new membership application: RM50.
Annual subscription fee: RM20.
Ordinary Membership benefits.
No voting rights at AGM.

Honorary Membership
Complimentary and only by invitation from the Council.
Ordinary Membership benefits.
No voting rights at AGM.

Corporate Membership
One-time entry fee upon new membership application: RM50.
Annual subscription fee: RM2,500.

PAYMENT METHODS

Payments can be made via the following methods:

a) In person when you visit our Heritage Centre during opening hours. We accept payment of fees by cash, cheque and credit cards. Cheques must be crossed and issued to Badan Warisan Malaysia.
