The Heritage of Malaysia Trust is a non-profit organisation focuses in heritage conservation services. Various conservation and restoration projects were done since 2014, from the projects, part of the building materials was taken to analyse and act as a sample to find the prototype of the materials to be replaced during the conservation or restoration works. The establishment of this traditional materials library is in parallel with the work of The Heritage of Malaysia Trust to promote education as to develop an understanding of our built heritage as an expression of our history and identity.

With the slogan Discover. Touch. Feel, it is hoped that the establishment of this library can provide a new learning experience to all the students and society.
