Programme Description
Badan Warisan Malaysia is pleased to organise a BWM Members’ Trip ‘Living Klang Legacy Walk’, one of the region’s oldest settlements—through a personally curated walking tour that brings its rich history to life. Journey through the heart of Klang’s old town and uncover stories that span ancient origins, colonial influences, and the city’s modern transformation along the revitalised Klang River waterfront.
The two-hour exploration will take you through a range of multicultural heritage sites, including the Gedung Raja Abdullah, Lian He Temple, Little India, Masjid Bandar Diraja Klang, Pasar Buah, Pasar Jawa, Pengkalan Kampar, and a view of the river’s Trash Interceptor from the bridge. The walk concludes at the Arked Mara area, where you may enjoy local cendol and traditional snacks. Your main guide for this immersive experience storyteller, Nadge Ariffin, joined by a special mystery co-host who will bring added insights and surprises along the way.
