When confronted with pain, we automatically reach out for remedies which are familiar to us. These remedies would have been passed on to us from family, friends and tradition through generations.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Zuraidah Ghani developed an interest in antiques at an early age and has acquired a considerable collection over the years. Her pride and joy is her collection of betel boxes and paraphernalia associated with the habit of betel chewing. She wrote a book entitled ‘A Bugis Family’ about her family covering several generation, which was published in 2016. Zuraidah is an active long-time member of Badan Warisan Malaysia.
